Tips for Building Websites

When you start to build your website, there are a few things to keep in mind in order to ensure that your website is optimized to appear in a Google search.  In order to push your website in all web browsers, you need to make sure that your website is built and maintained properly.

They begin by Catching: making copies of the website, and then saving a version onto their servers. Then, they maximize and push certain websites to the top of the list by their relevance, which is based on both the web text and keywords embedded in the meta tags of your site.

Clear Navigation

The first thing to be concerned with is a clear navigation bar. Although it may seem like navigation wouldn’t play a role in keywords and search terms, it does. Make sure the font is legible to all readers, and that looking at it doesn’t give anyone a headache. This will help your readers and the Google cache understand what is on the website, as well as how to search for things.

Image Tags

A long time ago, photos were added to a webpage to add some more interest your website. They were largely irrelevant, or even just filler to take up blank space, but, today, they are very important. When you have a photo on your website, make sure it has a title and is tagged with keywords and phrases.

This will also help Google and other search engines to pick up on your website because you’ll have more information about your company online in many different, useful ways.

Design a Site Map

Almost all websites have a site map page listing every page on the site. This is another simple way for to help the search engines pick up the links on your website and cache them.

Not only does it make it even easier for search engines to find you, but it allows your visitors and potential clients to look for specific things on your website more efficiently.

Incorporate Social Media

The last point is this: USE SOCIAL MEDIA TOOLS! Social media allows the public to access and share content on their Facebook, Twitter, Digg, and other networking sites. This spreads your information rapidly and gets you more hits. If your website does not incorporate social media we suggest you add it soon. Word-of-mouth is a powerful thing!

We hope this helps you with your website and brings you up to terms, even a little bit. If you have any questions about any of the items we discussed above, please feel free to leave a comment. If you would like Tek Tonix to build you company website or personal blog, send us an e-mail or message.
